Certificate in Multimedia and Web Design

Pamela attended the Aoraki Polytechnic’s Multimedia and Web Design course in 2008. She already had experience building websites using HTML and FrontPage, however wanted to upgrade her skills using the latest technology that the web industry was using. She learnt Dreamweaver, CSS, Flash, osCommerce, web industry standards and search engine optimisation. As a freelance web designer using CSS and XHTML she has designed www.edgeauto.co.nz and www.melchesterrovers.org.nz. Since graduation, she has continued to work as a freelancer and is always pushing herself to learn new skills such as creating custom templates in Joomla and JavaScript programming.
