 Sonia van de Klundert (nee Leathart) Programme Coordinator/ Tutor in Radio
Sonia van de Klundert began working in the New Zealand radio industry 13 years ago. Her first position was for Radio Otago as a Copywriter in 1996. She worked on a variety of stations while in Dunedin as both a Copywriter and later Broadcaster including Dunedin’s 4XO and Radio Dunedin. In 1998 Sonia moved to Christchurch to pursue her on air passion full time. She joined the C93 FM team as their 10 to 2pm Announcer. In 2001 Sonia moved to Queenstown to work on More FM as part of their Breakfast Duo, five years later having covered Client Service, Copy, News, Promotions, Sales and On Air, she accepted the position of Radioworks Central Otago General Manager based in Alexandra, covering Cromwell, Wanaka and surrounding areas. Sonia’s most recent on air role was in 2008 for Wellington’s More FM.
